For some, what Sabia does is time wasting and meaningless. For Sabia, however, it is a lifestyle. Her mother turned and looked at Sabia, her green eyes glowing. "It's a present for you, dear!" "A present? But it's not my birthday.." She said, tilting her head. Her mother and father opened the box and took out what was inside over to a desk. A big box, followed by a flat screen. Plugging everything in, they backed away, and Sabia approached it. Sabia sat down in the chair in front of it, and her father pressed a button on the giant box next to the screen. Everything started up, and Sabia found herself looking at a blue screen with little icons dotting the side. She turned around and faced her mother. "Mommy, what is this?" Her mother did not say anything, just crouched down next to her daughter and clicked around for her. She eventually opened up a chess game that was pre-installed. Sabia clicked around on the different pre-installed games. Such as minesweeper and solitaire. She had a pleasant time using all the games for a long time, and it kept her busy. She never noticed that her parents stopped spending time with her. Extra #2: Sabia's theme.

Nana is a bit of a ditzy character. She spends most of her time in her mind and is not often present in reality. Her head is always in the clouds, and she often is completely oblivious as to what is around her at any given moment. She's pretty sensitive, so for her, it's safer to spend time in her own mind as opposed to real people and environments. She experiences emotions very strongly, both positive and negative, so even small things can cause her to overreact. She blows events out of proportion, and so to avoid hurting herself or others, Nana prefers her own company. Because she is involved mostly in what is happening inside as opposed to outside, she comes off very blank and ignorant. This causes many to view her in a condescending light, seeing her as useless or stupid.
Nana is incredibly imaginative, and she is very much a dreamer. When inside her mind, she is always imagining a better present or future for herself. She likes to think up alternate worlds and situations for her to put herself into. She often becomes incredibly attached to these alternate 'personas' and becomes disappointed when the real world doesn't live up to her expectations.
Although Nana still spends most of time in her mind, she's become more 'present' since her childhood, and now works on trying to interact more with others. When she does actually interact with those around her, she is often very bubbly and outgoing, but she has a tendency to hide her emotions and doesn't often tell others if anything is bothering her. She hopes to get to know others better once she becomes more confident in interacting with them.
Why She Loves Technology:
Nana loves technology because it makes the impossible possible. From a very young age, she has relied on technology to assist with her problems and help her feel more confident in herself. As much as she loves computers/laptops, that's not what's important to her- it's what's behind the technology, the science that goes into it. She uses the concept of data processing and such to help herself inside of her own head. By using a computer and seeing how it processes things and does work helps her to understand herself and to help solve her problems. Seeing how influential and important technology is to the modern world, she was inspired to use that concept to her own benefit. If a tiny chip in the board of a computer can do that, then so can Nana.
Nana is also completely fascinated by music. She loves music and music players more than any other kind of technology. By listening to music and her favorite songs, Nana is able to completely escape. She's able to forget everything around her and focus on the feeling of pure joy. By closing her eyes and listening to her favorite songs, she's comforted. Even though most of the music she listens to isn't in her native language, that makes her feel even better. Because she can't understand it, she's reassured that it's impossible to understand everything - that it's okay to feel unsure sometimes and that not everything has to be perfect. She's able to reassure herself of her importance and her worth, and that despite her problems and oddities, she's no less important than anyone else.

Extra #1: An explanation of her "mind computer"
It's a little hard for me to explain what my 'mind computer' really is but I'll do my best! You see, sometimes I don't really deal with my problems all that well, and to recover sometimes I just....ignore them, and they just get worse. It's hard for me to express myself to others, so I mostly have to rely on myself. That's why I have this sort of computer in my head.
The way technology stores and processes data has always been pretty interesting to me, so I began to develop a sort of way for me to do that as well. When I have a problem, I kind of imagine it in my head, maybe as a little representative object or maybe just written on a piece of paper. When I can see it in front of me like that, it helps me control it. From there, maybe I want to keep it to remember, so I kind of like....move it into a folder so I can access it later. Or sometimes I just want to get rid of it forever, so that's when I just imagine dragging it into the trash bin so I never have to deal with it again. Does that make sense? It's kind of hard for me to explain, since you can't really get inside my head to see it.
I imagine you could probably do this yourself if you tried. It takes a lot of practice, I think, but it's really helped me get this far. Hopefully someday I'll be able to face my problems head on, but for now I kinda have to rely on this. I hope someday I'll be able to be more open with those around me.

Nana prefers K-pop over Western music because she likes the beat more. She knows there's probably not much meaning in the songs that she likes, but that doesn't really matter to her. She just likes the way it sounds and how "feel-good" most of the songs seem to her. Her music taste is pretty open, however - she'll accept almost any music recommendations you give to her. Unless they're country music. She really dislikes country music.

When you first meet Breanne, she’s a very reserved girl. Not inherently quiet, but not holding back either. She’ll act coolly polite and place herself near the back of the room. She’ll come off as disinterested or stoic most of the time, and usually only sit back and listen. Breanne is also very good at hiding her emotions, and usually keeps a straight face.
However, when you dig deeper, Breanne is always paying attention. Her personality type, INTJ, is described as the mastermind, and she lives up to that expectation. She is always aware of everything around her and calculating responses, actions, potential situations, outcomes, and threats. She is very reason-oriented, and likes to stick to plans rather than improvise. She’s sarcastic, witty, and sly, and is very deceptive. She plays others to her advantage and for her personal gain. She is also very cold and unfeeling, almost machine-like, which leaves her unfamiliar with empathy and amity. She is very apathetic, with most things, and she will not hesitate to tell you. Breanne loves technology for many reasons. The reasoning she will give people is that technology gives her power. A phone can act as her spy, taking pictures, browsing the internet, and finding out the reckless secrets people can only share with either a therapist or thousands of people on the internet. She loves coding and gaming and cheating and hacking to get her way and technology gives her access to programs, people, and information. Whenever people threaten her, she’ll use technology to her advantage, using her phone to indiscreetly take photos, record things, and screenshot fleeting images that may give her power. Technology gives her power, and she loves it. However, she also has other motives.
Her family is a musical one. Her mother’s side has been singing opera for five generations, and her father’s side works in composing classical music. Breanne picked up piano, viola, cello, clarinet, and vocal skills from her family members. However, since she was not good enough at composing symphonies or having a high, ringing, sparkling voice, she decided to branch off into her favourite music at the time: electronica/dance. She loved the energy to it, and it better suited her alto belt. She found comfort mixing together deep bass, pounding drums, sparkling energy, and a passion for bright and uplifting music with the most intriguing and important revolution of life, which was her escape from her otherwise dreary and strategic lifestyle. Breanne thinks it’s amazing that a piece of equipment can turn a simple toe-tapping beat and a few notes into a shining and bouncing piece of art that others can enjoy and dance to, which fills her with wonder.

Breanne’s accessories tell a bit of a story about her and her past. If you can pry it out of her, of course. Her headphones were a gift to her from her father from his will. He died of throat cancer while she was a young teenager, which runs in his side of the family. However, this sadness does not affect her greatly in the life she lives. As a child, Breanne would go into his study and listen to his albums and records on repeat, using those headphones. It was her bonding time with her father while he was on tour or away for work. But whenever she came home, they would duet together, singing into the sweet night air. When he passed away, he gave her the albums and headphones among other things. She carries them to preserve his memory. She still has the material copies of the albums.
Breanne’s mouse on her tail is from her laptop. Before she decided to pursue music, she loved coding and creating software. However, she had a greater talent: hacking. She downloaded viruses and hacks and countless threats and had them all buried on her laptop. It was protected by so many security walls only she could crack it. And on that laptop contained her secrets and her life story. However, one day, her home experienced a small robbery, and her laptop was stolen. Using tracking methods, she recovered it in a dumpster, but it was wiped and nearly destroyed. She doesn't know what happened to it or who took it, but only has the mouse to remember it. She’s created a replacement, but is much more careful with it as a result.

Virus is a complete computer freak. Any so she knows how to patch one up real quick. She doesn't talk much at all but when shes into a game you won't even get her attention. Virus though is someone who's shy and quiet ; lacking friends and family to comfort her. Even so she could be the biggest jerk that you've ever met if you interrupt her gaming ; although usually shes laid-back, cool, not wanting trouble. But if your a close friend you can quickly tell you unlocked something in her because from that game freak comes a spunky gal who just wants to have some fun. Sbes jumpy and fearful of things most of the time but.. shes finenow ; that was when she was young. Buuut.. Virus is very fearful of clowns. .. off topic but she knows how to joke and give opinions ; never does she judge. Everyone can be a friend in her eyes.

Virus loves technology because.. he father. Once he diesdied technology was her only friend. Her family used to fix computers that were broken and she got to test out and make sure the device was working. Computers had also been most of her childhood. Most times peoplevia;things taunted her over computers so she found virtual , 3-D games to where she didn't have to let the people see her so.. thats what she stayed with. Playing virtual 3-D games so nobody would taunt her again, so now she can't get away from the wonderful presence of the computers device and hard drive.

 Why She Loves Technology: It nearly overruns her world. She listens to music all day 24/7,
even when she goes to sleep. She keeps a CD containing all of her video
games on a necklace for "emergency gaming". To her it makes life
so much easier able to listen to her favorite song with just one press
of a button or the ability to keep entertained for hours and at times even days.
Celeste believes that technology had benefited Kiamaras in great ways,
saving lives and making things easier for everyone. It allows her to easily talk
with her friends and other people through long distances. As a hobby, she enjoys
