The only reason I didn't pretty this up is because I wasn't sure it was allowed. Anyways, here is my (nearly) completed form- this cutie is absolutely priceless and good luck to everyone! QuQ CS Username: amura Name: Arrayne Hathaway Nicknames: Arry or Ayne, username nickname is Jynx (QueenJynx) Gender: Female Personality: Spontaneous about sums it up: she's creative and outgoing with a desire to widen her knowledge of the world in which she lives. She's fun loving and a bit of a jokester, known always to have a sarcastic retort and a quick witted remark in mind to every reply. She's independent and stubborn, with a 'not my problem' type of attitude. She enjoys hanging around and having fun, but her love and devotion lies in music and, you guessed it, video gaming. Call her geeky but she adores some verbal combat over the internet. As for the negatives to her snarky personality: Arrayne doesn’t enjoy being outdoors. She finds it troublesome when the cold or heat ruins her things and hates when the sun gets in her eyes or the wind ruins her hair and tangles her necklace. She’s constantly at war with nature, often flinching to the thought of physical exercise. She’s a tomboy through and through, one to make faces when her friends tell her about crushes and to make loud, rude remarks when someone is annoying her. She would much rather get it done and be over with it, as she hates to gossip. If placed in a movie, she would no doubt be the dis-liked underdog, always wearing the hoody and sitting at the back of the class to avoid the pink clusters at the front of the room.
Why She Loves Technology: Well… who doesn’t love technology? Without the IPod, she’d be stuck carrying around a boom box! Speaking of which, her IPod is her best friend when away from her laptop or PC. She’s not one to chat or text on phones, instead tuning the world out with blaring music. Now to move on from her love from music and move past her gaming without so much as a wave in its direction: the reason she likes technology in general is because of the possibilities. It’s full of information, millions of people use it, there are literally thousands of things to do- it’s like stepping into a new world where the only diseases that there are can be kept out by downloading an app. To her, technology is another universe in which she can roam freely, make friends who don’t judge by looks alone and speak without judgment. It’s a getaway from life, where anyone has the chance to do something they would never normally do and be free of the stresses of their normal lives.
Art
Extra #1: Let’s begin with Arrayne’s love for music. Perhaps it’s the meaning behind the songs or just the beat that she loves, but she’s well and truly addicted to it. When she wants to relax, she picks up a pen or pencil, blares her music and draws. When it comes to artists, however, she becomes well and truly serious. Her favorite band being Icon For Fire, she has a rotating schedule for her favorite songs. One day it’ll be Make a Move, the next It’ll be Off With Her Head. She adores the overall concept of the band, especially their clothes choice, and is a huge fan owning every album. She also likes Emilie Autumn, and several other pop and rock bands including Imagine Dragons, Nickelback and so forth.
Extra #2: Moving on to gaming... Oh, she loves it. The verbal spars, the double bluffing, mind games- everything about t. She notices everything and loves being able to communicate with her fellow gamers about similar interests. Her favorite game happens to be Prop Hunt, TTT or Trouble In Terrorist Town coming in as a close second.
Extra #3: art piece on the way

Linux D. (Dell) Torrent I chose this because I wanted to capture her love of technology in the name that defines her. I named her Linux after the operating system, Dell after the computer company, and Torrent after the file type. I felt that this name encapsulated her well.
LinFemale
. Rational . Dutiful . Diligent . Reserved . Musical .
. Rational . Lin is always objective and logical. She listens to reason and reason alone, and has a strong sense of what is right and wrong. She will tell you the honest truth, and feels no need to soften the blow. On the outside, some might think her to be cold and unfeeling, but Linux feels emotions deeper than most. She cares deeply for those closest to her, although she is unlikely to show it.
. Dutiful . As someone who strives in order, Lin has an immense sense of duty. She believes in rules and can only be persuaded away from them if strong evidence is given.
. Diligent . If anyone was to be called a perfectionist, it would be Lin. She is organized, methodical, and always gets the job done. Effort is never lacking when she sees that there is a purpose. Because of this, she can take herself and others for granted. Never one to slack, she always makes sure the facts line up. Lin is consistently punctual, and always has a plan. If you need someone you can count on, Linux is your girl. She has an excellent memory and is meticulous in everything she does. This also makes her very wise, and many seek her advice.
. Reserved . In public situations, Lin tends to be quiet. She doesn't like being around too many people, and this allows her to observe and be objective. She is extremely perceptive of people except when it comes to emotions.
. Musical . You wouldn't think it, but Lin has a lovely voice. She doesn't show it off, but uses it occasionally when the opportunity presents itself. Though she doesn't do much of it herself, she has an extreme appreciation for music and art. Lin often listens to dubstep while she codes.
Lin loves technology because it follows a set of strict rules. You input one line of code and you always know what the result will be. There's no guesswork or surprises. If you can just follow the key, you can do anything with certainty. Technology is organized and consistent, much like Linux herself. A computer may look cold on the outside, but inside lay treasure of untold beauty and worth. When she puts on her headphones and pulls up her hood, Lin can shut out the outside world and focus on reason. She can forget about people and emotions and just use her brain.
Coding is what Lin uses the most. She likes it because it's reliable, yet it can be used to create beautiful things like her mother used it to. She knows what certain commands can and cannot do, and it allows her to be meticulous. She can perfectionistically check her work, making her feel safe in a world of order.
Technology is used everywhere, and Linux likes the sense of power that comes over her when she uses it because she knows she can change the world with only a few keys and her intelligence. She's constantly connected to everything, and that gives her a sense of purpose.
Lin loves technology because it connects her to all that's lost, all there is, and all that's yet to come.
"What flavor do you want?" Gabrielle asked her daughter.
Looking up at her mom, Lin's young face contorted with indecision. "I can't choose," she answered.
Gabrielle chuckled, a bubbly sound. "Sweetheart," she started, "it doesn't matter what you get as long as you like it." Taking this into consideration, Linux decided to chance it, ordering a flavor she'd never heard of. "Good choice," her mother remarked, sitting down. Linux grinned at her through ice cream-stained lips.
On their way out, Gabrielle grabbed her daughter's hand, swinging it back and forth between them. Lin giggled and hopped in time with their own private rhythm. Gabrielle opened Lin's car door, buckling her in before walking around the car and opening her door. Pulling out, she smiled at her daughter. "Lin, how about a coding lesson with your sister when we get home?" She asked.
Linux's eyes widened. "I get to have a lesson with Bri?" She exclaimed excitedly.
Stopping at a red light, Gabrielle glanced at Lin. "Yes, this is something you both need to learn." The light turned green, and she pushed on the gas pedal. "MOM!" Lin yelled, but it was too late. The last thing she saw was the grill of a semi hitting the door before everything went black.
.~.
Linux glanced over her shoulder as she ran around the corner, checking to see how close her sister was. Giggling, she ran into their mother's office. Not far behind, Brisa chased five-year-old Lin around the computer chair where their mother sat. Gabrielle smiled. "Bri, stop chasing your sister around the house," she scolded lightly. Out of breath, Lin collapsed into her mother's lap, leaning back into the safety of her arms.
"Come here, Bri," her mother beckoned." I have something to show you both." Brisa came closer as Gabrielle pulled up what she had been working on. It was a website, beautifully crafted and aligned. On it were their names, and pictures of the three of them. Linux stared in awe. How could something so beautiful come from just a few words? "Watch closely," their mom whispered, pressing the backspace button. The beauty on the screen crumbled, leaving bits unfinished and raw. Typing a single symbol, the page returned to its former beauty. "You see," she said,"if something goes wrong, all you have to do is find the mistake."
.~.
Her mother's voice faded as Linux became aware of a pain in her left arm. Opening her eyes, everything came flooding back. Ice cream, the car ride, the green light, and the crash. She must be in a hospital.
"Bri?" She said softly. Her thirteen-year-old sister, who was sitting at her bedside, looked up, pain and relief in her eyes. "Where's mom?" Lin asked, wanting her mother's arms for comfort. "Is she here?" She saw Brisa's face harden as it held back tears.
"Lin," Bri whispered, "why don't you get some sleep? The doctor should be back soon." Something was wrong. Why wouldn't Bri tell her? Linux's nine-year-old brain worked overtime. Was her mom here? Where else could she be? Was she hurt? A sudden calm came over Lin as another thought came to mind. Was she... dead? "Where's mom?" She asked frantically.
Bri's face crumpled, confirming Linux's worst fears. "She's gone, Lin," her sister whispered. "She's gone." No. This couldn't be happening. It couldn't. In a state of shock, her mother's words came back to her, and it was as if she was in the room. "If something goes wrong, all you have to do is find the mistake."
'I will, mom' she promised solemnly. 'I always will.'
At exactly 5:30 am, Lin opened her eyes as the nightmare faded. It felt real, but it always did. She had no need for an alarm, her inner clock was precise as always. By 6:00 she was taking her morning jog with the scheduled speed increase. At 7:30 she was showered, dressed, and eating breakfast. Linux scanned the news headlines as she finished her apple and washed her cereal bowl.
Opening her desk drawer, Lin pulled out a spare notebook she kept there. Just as she was about to close the drawer, her eyes landed on the last line of the paper that had been covered not moments before. "There's too much chaos in this world, Lin. I can't take it anymore. I'm so sorry, and I love you so much." Blinking away tears that no longer came, she looked away. 'Loved' was all she could think. 'You loved me.'
She grabbed her binder and headed for the door. As she did so, Lin's eyes caught the set of kitchen knives on the counter. With the letter so fresh in her mind, she could hardly stop the scene that flooded her brain. The ambulance that pulled into the driveway, lights flashing and sirens screaming in the wake of tragedy. The sight of the coroner carrying out a bag that ten-year-old Linux knew, but couldn't quite believe held the body of her sister like a cocoon. Suicide was such an overused word. It just slides off of your tongue like it's an easy thing to say. Like it doesn't carry the weight of someone's world.
Lin shivered, shaking off the memory like the nightmare of the night before. 'Chaos' her sister had said, 'there's too much chaos in the world.' 'Well, Bri,' Linux thought as she straightened her coat, 'there's no chaos anymore.'

CS Username: Tori!(: Name: Pixy Nicknames: Pix Gender: Female (Do not change) Personality: Loyal ↪ She's extremely loyal to those who she truly considers her closest friends. She's never far away when they need help from her, but definitely loves to be there for them as they are for her when she feels down. She only has a couple she considers really close to her besides all of her electronics she tinkers with when she needs to get things off of her mind sometimes! Protective ↪ When it comes to her electronics? She may be considered too protective of them, but she doesn't mind. They're her babies in her opinion and knows that not everyone or almost no one sees them the way that she does because she spends more time experimenting with them or fixing them than with others because she has a certain attachment to them that most likely no one can ever break. Stubborn ↪ She's very stubborn and she knows it. When anyone wants to spend time with her, it is very hard to even get her out the front door away from her electronic devices she always spends time with. But that doesn't really stop her close friends from trying because they know she loves to be outside as much as she does, but she doesn't want to when she has a tingling to meddle with something inside the house. Blunt ↪ She's always upfront with people because she believes everyone deserves that kind of honesty within their life. That's why she tries to be as honest with anyone as she really can be. Most don't like it, but she doesn't mind if they get upset. It's only her opinion. Industrious ↪ When she experiments, she definitely finishes a lot of what she started only a few hours to a day. It doesn't really take her long because she focuses in on her device as she's working on it. (Exactly 300) Why She Loves Technology: She loves technology because in her mind, it's a way to get away from everything. Especially any problems she may have to deal with. She loves to meddle more than anything because she considers that her main hobby and favorite thing to really do. She doesn't really do much else, but does design her own things that are electronic. To her? The technology advancements as she experiments just excites her. She enjoys it more than anything because tinkering is one of her pastimes and favorite hobby. Her toying with things is her way of enjoying life in her opinion because it's something that she enjoys above anything else. When it comes to meddling for her? No one could ever get in the way or stop her from wanting to enjoy what she loves to do the most. But she also loves to take her time with other things as well, even though when she does that? She feels like the electronics she was working on are calling to her, wanting her to fix them or pry with them til she sees what all she can do to it. Her technology is her passion, that is why she loves it so much and loves taking the time to work on new things and make even different things than what they were originally. When she meddles with them? Her mind goes blank, ready to accept and overcome any challenge that she could possibly face when working with the electronic devices that she was making into new things from all the others that she has. »Becca Mitchell« CS username; Mute
Name; Becca Mitchell
Nicknames; Soundwave Down
Gender; Female
Personality;
Becca is in no way a push over; she stands for what she believes in and stands for it passionately. While others may find her stubbornness irritating, she finds it her god given right to pursue her own path and not the ones others pave for her. From this she is described as rebellious, and that is absolutely true. Becca refuses to be bossed around, or told what to do at all, she isn’t open as open minded as many Kiamara claim to be, and is not accepting of the criticism dealt by others, she is very independent, and feels she can do just about anything by herself. Becca believes in standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, and does not tolerate bullying towards her or towards those around her. She is quick witted, and beyond talented, she loves making music and wishes to one day pursue it as a career. She is passionate about her work, and has a soft spot for anyone who takes interest in it, or is willing to take interest in it. Becca is not big on socializing with others, since many criticize her for what she does or how she acts, and has taken to keeping to herself and working on her music projects. Becca is capable of being a great friend, and a great leader, however those around her need to help her to learn how to be part of a team and to work together with them instead of against.

(yes. yesss this kia is beyond perfect. All words calculated with this site.)
CS Username: Commander Shepard
Name: Rosemary This girl wasn't born into the high-tech lifestyle-- really, who was, back in '92? No, Rosemary comes from a downright old-fashioned family, all with names relating to nature... small wonder she's gathered so many nicknames! (35 words)
Nicknames: Rose, Neo, Neon, Glowstick, Beacon, Plankton.
Gender: Female
Personality 1: She's no great wit. Can't really make awesome music, way too camera-shy to do videos, drawing skills are... okay, and she doesn't like to share her writing. But Rosemary is full of nothing but love, for her friends and for the world at large. From her downtown single-room apartment, lit by hand-crafted candles from her mother and her computer screen, Rosemary reaches out to anyone who seems like they could use a friend, whether it be through a few anonymous words of encouragement, a video she knows will bring a smile to a sad face, or just being there to listen and offer what advice she can; asking for little, if anything, in return-- she doesn't really care for drawing attention to herself. At all-- Rose is painfully shy and nervous around people, it's often all she can to do even manage with her job most days.
While she can't make it, Rosemary adores music (who doesn't?), with a taste so varied it can only be called 'I likes what I like'; though she has a heavy lean towards electronic, symphonic and video game music; often without lyrics, and she's almost never seen without her trusty headphones! She is quite a gamer too, playing anything that looks interesting (favorite is the Mass Effect series, as well as countless room-escape Flash games); and she has quite a fondness for cartoons, both nostalgic and recent (especially Steven Universe). She proudly owns up to the fact that... she is rather childish, but hey. She's got a job, she has her own money and home, what's it matter what she likes? (Alternatively: she's just 'making up for lost time', having grown up in a remote area of Newfoundland and not even having a TV until she was 17). (293 words)
Why She Loves Technology: "The future is here, and it is going to rock." Rosemary's life motto in a nutshell there, because what isn't there to love about technology? Computers that let you make friends from all over, that make the mysteries of the world not-so-mysterious and let you adventure under the sea, above the clouds, even beyond the stars! From her apartment in the city, Rose can scan the skies for new planets, be involved with world politics, let her see the history of the world and explore back alleys in Italy (mapcrunching is one of her favorite pastimes), keep up with trends in places she might have never heard of otherwise... but her love of technology goes way beyond what she can get from a computer; she loves what it can do for the world. Robotic limbs that can actually let patients feel things again. 3-D printed heart valves, the potential for fully printed organs that save hundreds of thousands of lives; crops that can grow stronger, yield more, survive harsh environments and nourish the hungry; ways of accommodating and communicating with those who might otherwise never have a voice, or worse, simply be locked away as a 'nuisance' to society. Sure, she freely admits there are a lot of drawbacks (she's rather savvy with her own security), and a lot of progress to be made... but the leaps we've made in even the past decade make this one of the best times to be alive.
And, well... cyberpunk! Granted, Rose is more into the fashion than the lifestyle, but it resonates with her all the same; stories of outsiders in a broken world, rebels making a change-- something she believes the world ought to take to heart while it still can. (289 words)
Art: (up to 2 pieces, at least one required)
Extra #1-- Personality 2 : Rosemary is... very, very shy, in-person; and while she loves the world... it's been a struggle, extending that love to herself-- she still hates her voice, always either so quiet she's told to 'quit mumbling', or so loud she gets scolded for shouting, there's not much in-between (and that's not even getting into her tendency to mix up words). Still hates that she often bears bumps, bruises and little scars from just not paying enough attention or being quick enough to avoid sharp corners and doorways; and she's only recently managed to accept that it's not the end of the world if she's on the chubby side. She often has to work to reign in her enthusiasm about games, astronomy and... rather disturbing trivia (part and parcel with being in the sixpenceee army!), simply because she knows it'll just annoy others, and if there's one thing that will cause Rosemary to just about shut down, it's just being... entertained. Listened to without the other party having the slightest bit of investment, she'd much rather be told 'I don't care' and find something else to do or talk about than waste her and someone else's time.
This is part of why she does most of her socializing online-- there, she can re-read her words, make sure everything is clear, and edit what might've slipped by. There, she doesn't have to worry about tripping over her own tongue or paws, can find people who welcome and might even match her excitement over silly and obscure things, swap horror stories without fear. And there... she's never alone. There's always someone to talk to, some story to read, some game to play, no crushing loneliness, indifference or silence that so often plagued her while she grew up. (291 words)
Extra #2 -- Playlist (probably): (Anything you want but it is REQUIRED) (300 words or 1 art piece)
Extra #3 -- Art (probably): (Anything you want [not required]) (300 words or 1 art piece)
(Still a WIP, mostly on the art front)
