A little roleplay between ~Soul~/Mandiijay's Everest and my baby Dylan. c:
This will be quad and the setting will be the forest where Dylan lives, if that's ok with you! :3 |

Everest walked though the winding forest, that seem to be ever green, and bringing out the greens in her coat as she leaped and bounded over roots and fallen branches. She had a little backpack upon her back with goodies and Yeti tucked away nice and safe for their long journey ahead of them. She found herself in the forest on a mission, no a quest in order to find the Yeti! Though the real one was not anywhere as cute and cuddle as the one she carried in her back pack she insisted she will find it one day. As she came to a small clearing in the forest she came to s sudden halt, causing some leaves to pile up over her paws. She then swung her backpack off and flipped open the flap and shuffled though it, sticking her head in as well as she looked for her binoculars. Once her little paws manage grabbed hold of them he yanked them out and smiled pleased with herself and lifted them to her eyes. She frowned when all she was was darkness and then realized that her bangs where over her eyes and huffed them back into place before taking a look around to see what was out there.

Dylan bounced from side to side impatiently. "Come on momma, can't I go now?" He asked, looking up at her with pleading eyes. "Did you eat all your breakfast?" Raina asked. "Yeah..." Dylan replied, hardly able to sit still. "And you groomed your mane?" "Yes ma'am." He said. "Can I go?" "Yes, you can go now. But don't you wander too far!" Dylan grinned and nuzzled against his mother's chest. "Don't worry mamma, I'll be careful!" He said over his shoulder as he dashed out the entrance to their treehouse den. He jumped up, placing his front paws on the railing of the deck and looked around. hmmmm, where am I gonna explore today. He wondered. Suddenly a bright flash of light appeared in a clearing not too far off. Just as quickly as he noticed it, it was gone. huh? He cocked his head. This was definitely worth investigating. The young Kia quickly slid down the side of the tree and took off in the direction of the strange light. His paws were a little sore by the time he found the place where he thought he saw it. Crouching low, he stayed under the bushes as he approached the clearing. Dylan peeked through the branches and saw a Kia in the middle of the clearing. It was looking through the contents of a backpack. Dylan ducked back into the bushes and took a deep breath. Only one thing to do... charge!!! He leaped out of the bush and tackled the intruder, sending them both as well as the contents of the backpack all tumbling across the grass. As they rolled to a stop, he stood over the other kia and gasped. She was a girl, about his age. His first instinct was to apologize, but he had just tackled her, he had to keep up his defense of his home, right? "What are you doing in our woods?" He asked, trying to look tough.

Everest fur puffed up as she was soon flung into the forest floor, she couldn't help but let out a small ep as her eyes grew big and she went tumbling along until she came to a stop with black fur covering her vision. Once the kia moved she looked up at him and glared at him. "Whats the big Idea!" She said and flatten her ears as she managed to pull her front feet up and place them agents his chest and started to push him off for she could get out from under him. Once she manage to wiggle out from under him she stood up and shook her head and huffed and looked to see her snakes and poor yeti all over the place and going to pick them up. "I am on an Expi..ecpad....a Mission" she said and 'never flipped' her bangs out from her eyes. "One that is very dangerous and will take a long time to find." she said and slightly wrinkled her nose and looked down so see that the tumble manage to scrap her back left knee up good and with that sighed more out of frustration thinking this would set her back a couple minutes and put her paw to the cut as she looked to see if she had even brought her bandaids with her. She looked back in her back noting her first aid was also gone and looked around not seeing them any among her stuff that was not spread across the forest floor and blinked. "What you you mean YOUR woods, you can't own the woods" She said thinking that was a little silly for him to call this his.

Dylan scrambled back as the other kia pushed him off of her. He shook off his fur and stared back as she glared him down. He cocked his head when she said she was on an expedition. "Really? That's so cool!" He froze. He was supposed to look tough right now... but this expedition-mission adventure thing sounded really interesting... and she didn't really look like a threat to his family. He glanced at her out of the corner of his eyes as she stated to pick up her things. "Uh... I'm sorry about your stuff..." He apologized, feeling bad for knocking her down. He started to help pick it up and noticed that her leg was bleeding. He looked to his left and saw a box that had opened a bit. Some medical supplies were visible inside. He nosed it over to her. "Here you go..." He said. "I didn't mean to hurt you... I thought you were an intruder." He thought about her words. "Well, I guess they're not my woods. But my family lives here, and I guess that's what I meant." He shrugged. "So where are you from? And where are you going?" He handed her a compass that had slid out of her bag.

Everest huffed and let out a sigh as she looked at her knee and the box that was soon pushed towards her, She open it up and grabbed a wet whip and a bright yellow bandaid "It's ok, only doing what cha need to do right" she said and cleaned her cut up, wincing a little before putting the bandaid over it. she then put the kit in a bag and looked at him and took the compass and nodded a thanks to him. "Im from a town not to far from here, and I am looking for a yeti" She said and picked up her stuff yeti and showed him "They are big scary monsters that protect the mountains and forest and whats not." She said with a node and pushed him into her bad before getting up and putting her backpack on. "Why is your family living in the forest anyway?? Are you guys like Yetis too or some than?" She rose a brow and studied him. He didn't look like a Yeti or what ever the brow version was called.
