Chem is a strange bundle of a Kiamara. His appearance is not unusual, but his body carries a little more weight than most other Kiamaras. Due to this, Chem has a number of insecurities about his appearance when it is addressed by another, and will be quick to become aggressive and defensive about himself and throw many insults to distract from the subject at hand. He means most of them, but some he does regret in private. Privacy over his emotions is something Chem holds dear, revealing little more than what he can show through a quick smirk, a flash of his eyes and a flick of his tail. New encounters are often met with a Chem who is aggressive on the front, but deep down does enjoy the company. Very, very deep down. If you look to be of interest to him, he can be quite determined to try and find a way to see through you and gain a one-up that can be used to his own advantages should the situation grow grim and he is in need of a sharp insult that he knows can dig deep.
He often scares away Kiamaras for the way he holds himself. He is at heart a true punk, indulging in many piercings through his years - the one that always remains is his tongue piercing. He doesn't fancy the idea of food getting stuck in the hole left behind, it makes him cringe. His music is loud and often he indulges in metal and dubstep. However, if you get to know him more, you may discover a further side of him and his music. But he won't be quick to show or tell - that is not who Chem is.
Chem cares not for too many strangers and finds the concept of 'friends' a difficult one to get his head around, or to just plain make them. The only two Kiamaras he safely cares for are Mitsukai, his brother, and Mei, a kiamara he has grown a soft spot for despite his best intentions. Unless you are either, tolerance may be difficult to achieve, but this does not mean Chem will leave best alone; he is a curious fellow.
Events and people of interest are something Chem adores - he enjoys investigating at his own pace, eating up information as it comes to him about others and their whereabouts. If you seem to interest this punk, be warned: you'll be stuck with somebody who wants to find out more, perhaps insult you, but at heart? He'd be more likely to want to join in.

- Does not like hot water - cold baths are his favourites.
- Collects headphone covers - mostly fond of chemical symbol ones! Needs a new one to use every day of the week.

Nobody is above Mingxia in her world. Coming from an extremely rich family, her attitudes towards others and money are extremely skewed to a world where nothing is out of her reach. The world is her oyster and everybody in it is available to be played with: most often emotionally. It's not to say that she is cruel, that is never her intention. In fact, she is often kind with gifts of money to those in need of it and to the children she knows, but anybody who is old enough to know better will feel the sharp push of her heel in their back should they underestimate her. She knows her own wealth and beauty and will use them to her advantage, often swaying others with a bat of her eyelashes or a swing of her hips. Money, beauty and power are very influential things: put together, Mingxia is a quiet force to be reckoned with.
She loves to travel and has explored much of the world outside of her native China. World foods in particular are to die for and anybody willing to cook for her will have that offer taken up very, very quickly; it often is how she makes friends, hosting dinner parties and attending others. Food is truly the way to this girl's heart. Money is very, very close second.
Her views can be somewhat harsh to others, but it is simply how she has been raised to be a tactical individual who can gain an upper hand in the world around her. Business is important in her family, and as such she maintains a level of dignity when talking with others: potential business partners are always out there, and she must be ready to accept the challenges that life will throw at her. A pretty face and a full wallet will not always save you in the real world, despite her tendency to sometimes slip up and think otherwise.
Mingxia lives a pampered life, but is fascinated by simple pleasures. People fascinate her and she is always searching for people to interest her and to study. Anybody can become somebody she wishes to talk with, even if only to observe their life and their attitudes. She also adores the simplicity of light; lanterns, fireplaces, the soft glow of fireflies are her favourites. It is something warm and touching and softens even the coldest of hearts. Deke is a child who is still growing into his own shoes. From what he knows of himself and others see, he is influenced greatly by those around him. His brother's confidence makes him terribly nervous about himself, and his father's strength and success and private expectations make him feel somewhat worthless. As a result, he is somewhat sheltered in on himself and is very wary of strangers, wanting to hide away and play with his action figures.

The Bandit:
Bandit is a kiamara who lives a life on the run. Crime runs thick through his veins and there is little that he deems out of his reach. His past is unknown, his future uncertain. His brushes with the law are events of legend. You could say that he is one of the most well known kiamara criminals to date. Few know of his identity, or his face; only his signature clawmarks on the doors of his victims and the black raven's feather dropped on the steps.
Have you been swindled by the famed Bandit? You might have to count yourself lucky you escaped with only your prized possessions. His claws have tasted more than metal throughout his years.
Reports say that 'Bandit' has started to slow down in recent years, but the outlaw has yet to speak for himself on this matter or else he be turned in to the authorities. Of course, he would much rather keep his freedom, and that is widely accepted. Nobody knows where or when he strikes: only that you best keep your children locked up at night and your pearls in your safes. The Bandit will find and take what he wishes.
Guillermo:
It's not that crime is the only thing in the Bandit's life. His personal identity, as Guillermo, is somewhat calmer but still as highly motivated. He keeps much to himself, hidden in the shadows, and only surfaces with a plastered on mask to tend to matters outwith his control: food, water, housing, the occasional need to speak to another kiamara; something he bitterly detests for the trouble of keeping his identity a secret. Not that he has to do much to keep people away; his appearance and rough attitude have earned him enough fear and respect to be left much alone in his home on the outskirts of the city he so often plunders. He has moved often to stay away from the grip of the law, but the dusty old shack he currently calls home has served him well for a few years now and the lack of neighbours means his life is - at home - quiet.
Due to a need to keep out of the limelight, Guillermo has no friends but a few accomplices. Their identities are often false so he cannot tell you who they are, only that they are trusted by him to bring him the goods he needs. He does not call them friends and never will. There are some who have felt his wrath; their scars hold tales of encounters with Bandit, and Guillermo chuckles at the thought of them. Those who cross him shall forever be branded as fools.
His personal life is he, himself, and I. Lovers past and present are unknown, and preferred to be forgotten.
Be wary of this Kiamara. Blood lingers under his claws. |
