Personality:
Zaira is a more serene and peaceful Kiamara for the most part, though she has a nasty temper and can be easily offended if not approached in the proper way. She is rather laid-back and generally very social with others, but has specific things that really just set her off. Despite this, she's been known as pretty approachable and a good friend if you get to know her in the right way.
The peaceful and calm side of her is reflected through her unwillingness to engage in any kind of drama or start a fight, though she is not as unwilling to end a fight once started. She generally avoids conflict though and slips out of drama as fast as she can, no matter who is involved. She simply prefers a quiet, entertaining life to one filled with anger and distrust. She will not pick sides if friends fight as well ; she simply just doesn't want to get involved. Zaira is simply loathe to relinquish the peace she has worked so hard to gain over the years.
As for her temper, it is both easy and hard to really set her off. While she only has a few things that really get on her nerves, they are rather common things others generally do. It is usually wise to be careful when conversing with her, because her mood can change fast if provoked in the right way. However, it is very rare for her to get physical in regards to her temper, as she simply detests physical violence of any kinds. She even dislikes sports that engage in those activities, preferring to keep that kind of nonsense out of her house and life. If she is physically attacked in any way, however, she will not hesitate to strike back. She has also been known to strike those who screw up her flower pieces,those this is pretty rare. When angered or upset, she generally snaps loudly.
Zaira is very appreciative of a social and crowded environment, which eventually led to her opening up a jazz club by the name of Tranquility. She loves being surrounded by other kiamaras, especially when everybody is enjoying themselves and having a good time. She runs her club strictly, ensuring that alcohol is prohibited along with smoking and other activities she finds inappropriate. She disregards the money she could make if she allowed at least alcohol, as she would rather stick to her principles than entertaining the desires of the masses. This rather defiant and prideful side of hers can cause issues with others, but she's generally pretty friendly and easy to become close to.
However, she also tends to take time away from the crowded environment to enjoy time with herself or close friends. She does love being social and hanging out with others, but has to take a break to recharge her "batteries" so to speak. She still can't stand being alone though, so she generally spends her time way with a close friend, watching movies together or making little crafts. She enjoys building up her friendship with others this way, as it feels much warmer than trying to socialize with multiple kias at once.
Finally, Zaira is a crafty and creative individual, preferring to do things on her own rather than have others assist. She generally knows her limits, but her temper can flare when others try to forcibly take over anything she is doing. Zaira took charge of the interior design and work of her club, even making the little crafts she displayed in the windows and throughout the club. Her preference to design is generally something that has a bit of her personality in it, which can be a bit off-putting at times. She simply disregards those who think otherwise, as she solely focuses on her happiness most of the time. This can be seen as selfish, but she really means no harm by it.
History:
Zaira was born to a loving pair of parents March 22nd, spending her first few years of her childhood living like any other normal baby Kiamara would. She grew up in the bustling streets of New York city, living with her family in a decent apartment as the only child. Her family was not particularly rich, but they were not poor either. She lived her live filled with the simple necessities and a little extra to entertain myself, content and satisfied up until her teen years.
When Zaira had just recently turned 13 years of age, she learned of her father mingling with another female Kia, resulting in the birth of a half-sister. Zaira was incredibly upset with her father for a while, even after her parents ended up splitting after the scandal. Distrustful of his actions, Zaira found it difficult to communicate with him, especially when it came to her new half-sister. Though she hated her father's actions, she could not bring herself to loathe her half-sister and thus began searching for her. Unfortunately, she learned very little about her sister and only grew more distant with her father. Even her relationship with her mother grew strained, eventually resulting in Zaira detaching herself when she grew of age and moved out.
Having spent quite a bit of her life in the midst of drama and distrust, Zaira grew to loathe that environment and settled for a more relaxed and peaceful approach. She could not rid herself of her temper, however, but generally kept it under wrap unless she was truly provoked. Having spent her teenage years saving up money through a part-time job, Zaira eventually took a trip to Paris and spent about a year there. When she returned from Paris, she settled down in Los Angeles where she opened the jazz club Tranquility.
She currently lives in a small two bedroom, one bathroom house in the standard suburbs close to the bustling city of Los Angeles. She is constantly checking for information on her sister and takes several trips a year to a variety of places to gather flowers and other crafting materials herself. She prefers to pick them herself to ensure their quality, as she distrusts companies that simply pack them in bulk rather than taking the time to ensure the quality of each other. She finds it adds more personality to her life and everywhere else her crafts end up.
