Megumi moved swiftly through the undergrowth, striking pelt providing surprising camouflage against the greens of the forest, much like that of a tiger. She'd just come from the city on a visit to her daughter, and was inwardly relishing the silence of nature after the constant noise she had never really grown accustomed to.
It seemed a long while since she'd made the journey, and perhaps it was for that reason she was not as careful as usual, nor as quiet. There had never been anyone here, after all.

Bai hadnt been in this part of the forest before. She had gone in deep following a bird with a supposedly injurjed wing only for it to fly off after a hour or so of following. Sighing she chewed on a mint leaf and turned around to head home. Her keen ears picked up some rustling. Maybe another sick animal. Quietly she moved over to the sound, her small height keeping her close to the ground.

She could have sworn there was a strange scent in the air, the faintest whiff of mint. The only way the mint leaves would smell is if they'd been stepped on or eaten, so it was logical to assume an animal had come through here. But the forest was silent, and so Megumi immediately became so, recognising the lack of wildlife as the default response to a predator. And it seemed likely to be another Kiamara. She looked around quickly, frightened by the prospect of being crept up on, but saw nothing.
"A-ano? Is a-anyone there?" She said softly, keeping her back to a tree.

Another kiamara! Bai froze, the mint leaf still in her mouth. Warily she retraced her steps back to a slender tree and looked about, aware that her light coat was easy to see amoungst the trees. Her green eyes scanned for movement and she didnt reply but her mind was whirring. They sounded frightened too, they hadnt know she was there.

A flash of light brown in her peripheral vision bade Megumi turn quickly, at first thinking it was Lupe following her until she spotted the other Kiamara on the other side of the tree she crouched beside. The mint leaf in their mouth made her smile inwardly, even as her usual awkwardness set in.
"U-um! Hello..!" She managed, startled. "S-sorry..."((Sorry about late reply, had exams all day today  ))

Bai's green eyes blinked once and she backed off, dropping the leaf she had in her paw."H-hello," She replied back, ignoring her stutter which she usually cursed. Her tail curled up her back. She had never seen many kiamaras in the woods but shed never been around here maybe things where different.
